April 2013

Here are some shots of the kind of fish you can catch in the East

and West branches of the Delaware River fly fishing in April.

All these fish were caught on nymphs or dry flies.

They were all released right after the picture into 45 degree water.

A beautiful 19" brown caught on the East Branch on a nymph.

A healthy 15" brown caught on the West branch on a nymph.

                                      This guy jumped 6 times.

A nice fat 17 inch brown from the West branch took a dry fly.

Another shot of that 19" brown trout from the East branch.
