For the 22nd time in the last 17 years the "Reel Men"
took a group of rugged outdoorsmen up to the wilds
of northern Canada to do battle with big toothy
northern pike and feisty walleye. This year we visited
the "Blue Walleye Outpost" east of Senneterre,
Quebec, and we were guests of the Shea brothers
from upstate NY. We fished Lac Achepabanca and its
connecting waterways and the fish we caught were
blue walleye and northern pike. Check out the
The view out to Lac Achepabanca from the shore - good fishing boats!

Mark & Tom heft their great stringer of pike. They easily spanked
everyone else & won the last day's tournament with over 20 pounds of fish.
The other Tom nails the biggest fish of the trip - a huge 6 lb. sucker.
Notice, Tom, that he is holding the "BogaGrip" incorrectly!
Bob & Doug show off their tournament blue walleyes. Thanks, guys, for
helping to contribute to a great dinner!
